ARC strives to involve the Anchorage community in its programs as extensively as possible, believing that personal relationships established between members of two different cultures are the most fundamental tool in fostering mutual exchange and improving the relations of the two nations.

Training programs for visiting Russian businesspeople and educators are designed to introduce them to a multitude of small businesses, large enterprises, non-profit and governmental organizations in Anchorage and Alaska. Some programs provide for cultural immersion through accommodations in volunteer host families.

Past experience has shown that a high level of personal and business connections between Russian Far Easterners and Alaskans have proved one of the most highly valued aspects of ARC programs, among visitors and locals alike.
